Book List

We wanted to point out on this Wednesday Weirdness that there is in fact an active link on the top of the home page even though it looks like a vast desert of nothingness. Click on the Resources tab and you will see that we have started a Book list. This will expand over time and we will consider adding any reader-suggested books in the categories that we list. You will see that it is an eclectic mix of books–not the “you complete me” type at all. We will strive to share with you resources that you won’t see in other places.

We believe knowing the history of how international adoption began can help us in reforming the problems. A great place to start to understand that history is to read  “International Adoption Global Inequalities and the Circulation of Children” edited by Diana Marre and Laura Briggs.
