How Could You? Hall of Shame -Roseanne and John Kincheloe UPDATED
This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.
Our first entry into our Hall of Shame comes from Eleva, Wisconsin where adoption advocates that have been locally interviewed over the years have been charged with incest and abuse. According to the Eau Claire article “Adoption advocates charged with incest and child abuse”
Adoption Advocates Charged with Child Abuse, the child welfare roles that this adoptive mom has had include foster parent and volunteer crisis responder.

Update: Roseanne Kincheloe, 41, of Eleva pleaded not guilty to one count of child abuse. “A 9-year-old girl says Kincheloe hit her with a broom and strangled her. Roseanne’s husband, John Kincheloe is charged with incest.”

Update 2:  She “was sentenced last week in Buffalo County. According to online court documents, Kincheloe was originally charged with child abuse after a 9-year-old in her care says Kincheloe hit her with a broom and choked her. But, that charge was amended to disorderly conduct.

She was also sentenced to probation, which was withheld, and ordered to get psychiatric treatment.”

Update 3: According to a public search on Wisconsin Circuit court system, Buffalo County v John Thomas Kincheloe-two cases were dismissed. A third case reveals that he plead” guilty due to a no contest plea” for a C Felony count of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of Child on 3/18/11. He received a sentence of 1 year, credit to time served and 10 years probation. Restitution is “Payment of any uninsured counseling for children.” Disturbingly, the prohibition is “No drugs/alcohol.  No bars/taverns.  No foster care for entire period of probation.  No contact with persons under the age of 16 except as permitted by CHIPS order” The restriction on foster care is only for the period of probation????GUILTY OF 2ND DEGREE SEXUAL ASSAULT is not AUTOMATIC BANNING for being a foster parent in the future??

    • Re: “… they were peeing in diapers and got spanked for and was made to clean up there room…”

That meets the definition of “child abuse”.

    • “they were peeing in diapers and got spanked for and was made to clean up there room”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t being able to pee and/or poop in a diaper its specific intended use? If the child in question was not allowed to pee in the diaper, why was he/she wearing one?

I agree, this screams child abuse.
