How Could You? Hall of Shame-Christy Mae Pensinger UPDATED

From Hollsopple, Pennsylvania, adoptive mother Christy Mae Pensinger, aged 59, had her hearing to have her guilty plea withdrawn delayed for a second psychological exam. She is accused of “pushing her 5-year-old adopted son down a flight of stairs and depriving him of food.” In September 2009, she pled guilty to “recklessly endangering another person, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault.” He only weighed 25 pounds when he was taken to a local hospital in February 2009. She had only taken him to the doctor twice between 2007 and 2009.

The next hearing will be April 26, 2011.

Update/February 25, 2012:
No new media articles have been published. A search of the Somerset County Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania public court records reveal the following:

On 9/21/09 she had pled guilty to Felony 3/Endangering Welfare of Children -Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense and Felony 1/ Aggravated Assault

Felony 2 Charges of Unlawful Restraint/ Serious Bodily Injury and false imprisonment were dropped.
Misdemeanor 1 charge of simple assault was dropped.

Misdemeanor charge 2 of recklessly endangering another person was dropped.

A charge of harrassment subject other to physical contact was dropped.

Then 2 felony 3 Felony 3/Endangering Welfare of Children -Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense  were dropped and Misdemeanor charge 2 of recklessly endangering another person was withdrawn.

Then she pled guilty to Misdemeanor charge 2 of recklessly endangering another person  on 4/26/11 and confined for 1 month to 2 years maximum. As of 7/14/11 she was still in jail.

Update 2

As of July 18, 2013 she is still listed as a prisoner.
