How Could You? Hall of Shame-David Lynn McMillian UPDATED

From Dobson,North Carolina, 54-year-old foster parent David Lynn McMillian was arrested last week on ” four felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor. He was jailed under a $100,000 bond.”

The 2 victims are foster children in his care and reported the abuse to a school safety officer. The abuse dates back to 2007.

Update: No news stories have been found since the initial one. We have found through a search of the Surry County Superior Court Public Docket that he is scheduled for trial on May 2, 2012 for “Felony INDECENT LIBERTIES WITH CHILD ” It is unclear whether that is now just one charge or if the original four remain.

Update 3: A search of the Surry County North Carolina court public records shows a reduction in charge to 1 misdemeanor count of simple assault. His trial is now set for 1/1/13.

His case in no longer in Surry County public records and he is not listed as an offender or sex offender on the North Carolina search.
