From Nairobi, Kenya, 28-year-old adoptive father “Ibrahima Eli who was employed by a family in Kabete confessed the murder of Jennifer Emali, his adopted young daughter on Monday.” She was 2.

“The body of the child was recovered from a banana plantation in Dwaru area of Kabete where it had been dumped.”

“The confession was given to police officers who arrested the man as he tried to kill his wife in Rift Valley’s Eldama Ravine town.

The suspect had lied to his 20-year-old wife Margaret Eli that they were going to get the daughter who went missing a few days ago.

Ibrahima is said to have married Margaret a few months ago and lived with her in Kabete. The wife went for the daughter recently from Githurai where she had lived with her relatives.
