FacePalm Friday
This is where your hosts will list their top picks for this week’s FacePalm moment—something they learned or read about this week that caused the FacePalm to happen (you know, the expression of embarrassment, frustration, disbelief, shock, disgust or mixed humor as depicted in our Rally FacePalm smiley).
We invite you to add your FacePalm of the week to our comments. Go ahead and add a link, tell a personal story, or share something that triggered the FacePalm on the subject of child welfare or adoption.
Your Host’s Selections:
Baby Entitlement -It’s Not Just for Adoption Anymore
She wants a baby and dang it EVERYONE needs to understand that and agree with whatever means it takes. It is about understanding HER NEEDS. She is deserving and she has put in the time and money. Why don’t OTHERS share their personal struggles with her so SHE can feel good about herself? When any issue crops up from her decisions, EVERYONE needs to feel for her and stroke her delicate ego. How dare others flounce around with their babies in front of her! How dare anyone have a baby without difficulty! Why me? And…and…and…it is your bosses fault too for any delays in starting a family “Many women are still listening to their bosses instead of their gynecologists and their guts.”

Adoption Casino YouTube
Ya gotta love the homestudy “review” in this callous video that we found linked to the Legally Kidnapped blog. The comedy team calls itself Aberrent Behaviors. Maybe that should be the name of a new adoption agency.
