How Could You? Hall of Shame-David Wayne Murphey UPDATED

From Prosser, Washington, foster parent David Wayne Murphey, 59, is accused of inappropriately touching a child. He “pleaded innocent to second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor. His trial is set to start Nov. 28.

According to court documents, the girl told Benton County sheriff’s detectives that Murphey had sexual contact with her three times in five months.

The alleged contact included kissing the girl, fondling and grabbing and rubbing against her, documents said.

Murphey has been ordered to have no contact with the girl while the case is pending. He is free without bail. ”

Update: In November 2011, a trial date of January 30, 2012 was set. An affidavit was file don 11/29/12. On 1/19/12 the trial was postponed until February 6, 2012.

On 1/26/12 the records show a plea of guilty and “sentence” .On 2/1/12 a different charge appears-instead of sexual misconduct with minor/2 it is now Assault 4/w sexual motive
