“A New Jersey choir director was accused Thursday of sending sexually-charged messages to a teenage boy on Facebook.
Prosecutors said Frednel Lambert’s messages to the teenage boy on the social networking site were sexual in nature and strange.
“These were messages about his body and his personal habits and what happened was, this boy told his mother,” Union County Prosecutor Ted Romankow said. “He felt creeped out.”
Investigators said Lambert met the teenager at a Newark church, where he was a choir director. The 34-year-old was arrested Thursday at his home in Union after a three-month investigation.
“That’s just gross, very gross,” a neighbor told CBS 2′s Christine Sloan.
“The Union County Prosecutor said Lambert is no longer with the church, which he did not name to protect the teenager.”
