Search for Korean Family Pays Off

This Korean adoptee reunion story was published on the web ahead of its Thursday release. It is another powerful story.

This one really stood out to me with a remarkable amount of details with the inclusion of the siblings and her husband in the reunion as well.

It needs to be pointed out that the story of relinquishment that she and her APs were told was incorrect. The “note pinned to her” story was a complete fabrication. An as AP, this is particularly striking to me because I have read numerous stories over the years of the “note pinned to the baby” and have always found that common storyline to be suspect.

We classify reunions in the postplacement category as a gap that needs to be filled one by one for each adoptee.
