  1. The story about the General Mills using the Honey Nut Cheerios character as an abused foster child is completely false according to information I received directly from the corporate office at General Mills.

    • Yes, The Onion only publishes spoofs on things. They are not just online. They actually print up a tabloid sized newspaper, though the publication is hard to find in some areas of the US. They often use real products in their spoofs. I was surprised that they even knew about foster care abuse to even do a spoof on it.
