How Could You? Hall of Shame-Former Policeman and CPS Worker Hector Gonzalez

This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.

From Galveston, Texas, 27-year police veteran and CPS worker Hector Gonzalez was given a measly 4 years probation for fabricating that he visited endangered children and interviewed the mother and a Texas City police officer in September 2010.

He pled guilty on November 15, 2012 to a charge of tampering with a government record.

“The fabrications were discovered after the children were hospitalized for malnutrition and serious developmental delays and were removed from the home for gross neglect.”
