How Could You? Hall of Shame-Alexander Adams Jackson UPDATED

From Houston, Texas, Alexander Adams Jackson,50, a former CPS foster family recruiter and minister, has been charged with “indecency with a child” for sexually abusing a girl starting when she was 7 years old. Jackson worked for CPS for 4 years up until 2011.

“He went to church congregations to recruit and train couples to become foster parents.

CPS said Jackson did not have contact with children during his time as a foster parent recruiter. But they are now looking further into his employment history.

We’ve also learned that Jackson once served as a minister at a small church in Galveston. The church rented a small chapel at the time, but is apparently no longer active.

According to court documents, the girl told police Jackson started abusing her in January 2006 when she was seven.

Officials say Jackson would “reward” the girl for doing her chores by taking her to his apartment. He would have her put on her mother’s stripper costumes and perform lap dances for him.

According to court documents, Jackson would touch the girl under her clothing. He would also give her a white pill and have her lie in his bed.

She told police she would fall asleep and wake up the next morning in pain. The victim told police her “vagina would burn and her body would hurt all over.”

The victim told police Jackson would tell her to get in the shower and wash off. The girl said Jackson would tell her not to show anyone her breasts because they were sometimes bruised.

Officials say there were more than 20 incidents of this abuse, which occurred from January 2006 to February 2010. The girl did not tell anyone about the sexual abuse because Jackson said he would kill her and her five siblings. The girl says she was the only one of her siblings being abused.

The now 13-year-old girl was placed in foster care in 2011.

She reported the sexual abuse to adults in April 2012. The victim said she was having nightmares leading up to reporting the abuse.”

Update/July 25,2014: According Harris County Records, on 9/26/13 a deferred Adjudication of Guilt was Established.8 years of Probation was granted. $300 was Assessed.
