How Could You? Hall of Shame-Jason Hatfield UPDATED

From Banner Elk, North Carolina, foster parent Jason Hatfield,42, “was charged with six counts of Sexual Activity by a Substitute Parent.”

“On February 25th, the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office of Criminal Investigation, received a report alleging an inappropriate sexual relationship between a 17 year old juvenile foster child and a foster parent in Watauga County.  The Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit, along with the Watauga County Department of Social Services (DSS), and the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Blue Ridge, conducted an investigation into the incident.”

“Hatfield was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate on March 3rd  and set  a $50,000.00 bond. The court date for Jason Hatfield is scheduled for April 30th.”
