From Crossville, Tennessee, foster mom Wanda Sue Feltner,64, “is charged with one count in connection with the incident that is alleged to have occurred on April 7. A warrant for her arrest was issued April 17 and Feltner surrendered at the Justice Center on April 29. ‘
“Disciplining a child in foster care with a coat hanger has landed a Cumberland County woman in court on a charged of misdemeanor child abuse, according to sheriff’s department arrest records.
The incident was investigated by Sheriff’s Department Investigator John Haynes and, according to an arrest affidavit, the seven-year-old victim suffered abrasions to the back after being struck with the coat hanger.Bond was set at $1,000 and Feltner is to appear in General Sessions Court on May 19. ”

Defense attorney Kelly Tollett argued diversion was appropriated because of the lack of serious injury to the child and because Feltner cooperated with authorities during the investigation.”

How could you beat my lil romeo. i trusted you with my babies sue. i signed my rights over because i trusted that you could give them a better life than i could. i had a drug problem but i never abused or miss treated romeo jasmine or alejandra. why did you beat him with a coat hanger. I hope you rott in hell for abusing my son. Its been over 2 years since i last saw my babies. i thought i was making the best decisiob for them. i never thought you were going to abuse them. i will never forgive myself for trusting you with my children. god will forgive you but i never will. i hope it eats you alive.
