From Bhopal, India, “a 12-year-old girl was sexually harassed by her foster father in Ashoka Garden locality here. A case was registered at Ashoka Garden police station on Tuesday.

Police said wife of accused has lodged a complaint. According to complainant, Heera Rajput, resident of Dashmesh Nagar, incident took place when she had gone to purchase vegetables. On her return she found her husband Manish trying to outrage modesty of her daughter. Accused on seeing his wife fled. She later reported the matter to police.

Police said the accused was later taken into custody.”
