Update: “A 60-year-old Dickson man was in Carter County court Tuesday morning accused of child sexual abuse.

Steven Wayne Anglin, who served as a foster parent for several years, was arrested last month for child sexual abuse.

His preliminary hearing conference was also continued until next month.

Anglin was arrested in June for 4 counts of rape and abuse of several children from ages 7 to 13.

1st Assistant District Attorney Heather Cooper says Anglin remains behinds bars but his bond is expected to be lowered soon.

Cooper said, “His lawyer asked today that his bond be reduced from $300,000 to $30,000 because he is represented by council, has no prior criminal history and we have no reason to believe that he would flee and not come back to court.”
