From Huntington, West Virginia, guardian Joshua Moore, 32, “was arrested and charged with three counts of sexual abuse.”

” A Huntington man is charged with sexual abuse, and police say the crime happened while he was on home confinement for another crime.”

According to the criminal complaint, Moore sexually abused a 9-year-old girl.

Cabell County Circuit Judge Paul Farrell says Moore was removed from home confinement and taken to the Western Regional Jail last week after authorities were notified of the potential new charges.

The home confinement sentence was related to a case from 2012 when Moore was charged with sexual abuse of a four year old child under his care.

In that case, Moore was convicted Wednesday of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian.

He is being held without bond in the Western Regional Jail.”

“A Huntington man is headed to prison for sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl.

Joshua Moore, 32, was convicted of two counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian.

Tuesday, Moore was sentenced to 10-20 years on each charge, to be served consecutively.

After serving his prison sentence, Moore will be supervised for 30 years and have to register as a sex offender.

According to investigators, the abuse of the 9-year-old happened while Moore was on home confinement for a 2012 case involving sexual abuse of a 4-year-old under his care.”

“A Huntington man has been sentenced for the sexual assault of a child.

Joshua Moore, 33, was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison on Tuesday in Cabell Circuit Court, according to a news release from the Cabell County Prosecutor’s Office. Moore will have 30 years supervised released and must register as a sex offender.

In July, Moore was convicted of two counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian. The prosecutor’s office said Moore has additional sex-related charges pending.”
