How Could You? Hall of Shame-Tamie Marie Bieker UPDATED

This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.

From Orange, California, Juvenile Corrections officer Tamie Marie Bieker, 38, “was charged with three misdemeanor counts of child abuse. She was fired from the Orange County Probation Department on Dec. 20.”

She “was charged Tuesday on suspicion of child abuse after prosecutors say she rubbed the shoes of three minors in urine  while on duty, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office announced.”

“Prosecutors say that on three occasions in July and August 2014, Bieker rubbed shoes of three teen boys – ages 13, 14 and 17 – into urine after they had urinated in their rooms, according to Roxi Fyad, a spokeswoman for the DA’s office.

On at least two of the occasions, Bieker had not let the boys use the bathroom.

“Bieker is accused of approaching the victim’s room, kicking his shoes into the urine and forcing him to put the shoes on,” Fyad said about a July 28 incident with a 17-year-old.

“The victim started to put on his shoes but hesitated because he could feel that they were wet, and Bieker is accused of insisting he put them on and making him walk in them.”

On Aug. 6, 2014, Bieker also denied a 13-year-old access to the restroom after he asked for permission three times in two hours.

When the boy told Bieker that he couldn’t wait any longer, prosecutors say she warned him not to urinate in his room. When he did, Bieker picked up the shoes while wearing gloves and rubbed both sides of them in the urine “putting them back beside the victim’s door, and smiling at him.”

If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of three years in Orange County Jail. She is expected in court on March 17 at 8:30 a.m. in Department C-55, Central Justice Center, Santa Ana.

Officials investigated the claims after the incidents were reported to other staff members.”

Update:”A former Orange County juvenile correctional officer was due in court Tuesday to be arraigned on child abuse charges for allegedly rubbing the shoes of three minors in urine while the minors were in her care, according to prosecutors.

Tamie Marie Bieker, 38, was terminated by the Orange County Probation Department (OCPD) in December amid allegations that the minors were forced to urinate where they stood after being denied access to the restroom.

Prosecutors with the Orange County District Attorney’s office say after a 14-year-old urinated in his room at the Juvenile Hall in Orange on July 21, 2014, Bieker rubbed the victim’s shoes in the urine.

Bieker is also accused of denying a 17-year-old access to the restroom after he repeatedly asked for permission on July 28, 2014, prompting the victim to urinate in his room near the door after he could no longer wait, according to prosecutors.

Once the urine seeped into the hall, Bieker allegedly approached the victim’s room, kicking his shoes into the urine and forcing him to put the shoes on, prosecutors said.

The victim started to put on his shoes but hesitated when he felt they were wet, and Bieker is accused of insisting he put them on and making him walk in them, according to prosecutors.

In a third alleged incident on Aug. 6, 2014, Bieker is accused of denying a 13-year-old access to the restroom after he asked for permission three times in two hours. When the alleged victim notified Bieker that he couldn’t wait any longer, Bieker is accused of warning him not to urinate in his room, prosecutors said.

After the boy urinated, Bieker allegedly approached his room with gloves on. At that point, Bieker is accused of picking up the victim’s canvas shoes that were in front of his door, turning them over, rubbing the tops of both shoes in the urine, putting them back beside the alleged victim’s door, and smiling at him, said prosecutors.

Bieker is charged with three misdemeanor counts of child abuse. If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of three years in Orange County Jail, according to prosecutors.”

OC Correctional Officer Accused Of Rubbing Kids’ Shoes In Urine Due In Court[CBS Los Angeles 3/17/15]

“Turns out a former deputy juvenile correctional officer will not be looking at life from the opposite side of the bars, as Tamie Marie Bieker received no jail time Wednesday after copping to rubbing the shoes of three minors in piss at Juvenile Hall in Orange.

The 38-year-old Santa Ana resident, who was looking at up to three years in jail for the three misdemeanor counts of child abuse she was facing, instead was sentenced to four years of informal probation, 30 days of voluntary community service and orders to pay restitution and complete a one year child abuse program.

Bieker was working at juvie on July 21, 2014, when she rubbed a 14-year-old boy’s shoes in urine after he peed in his room. Seven days later, a 17-year-old boy repeatedly asked for permission to use the restroom, but Bieker denied each request. The teen could no longer hold it, urinated in his room near the door and, once the piss seeped into the hall, Bieker went to the boy’s room, kicked his shoes into the puddle and forced him to put his shoes on.

“The victim started to put on his shoes but hesitated because he could feel that they were wet, and Bieker is accused of insisting he put them on and making him walk in them,” the Orange County District Attorney’s office stated when the juvie officer was arraigned in February.

On Aug. 6, 2014, Bieker warned a 13-year-old boy not to pee in his room after he told her he could not hold it any longer because she’d denied his three requests over two hours to use the restroom. “After he urinated, Bieker is accused of approaching his room with gloves on,” the prosecution statement reads. “The defendant is accused of picking up the victim’s canvas shoes that were in front of his door, turning them over, rubbing the tops of both shoes in the urine, putting them back beside the victim’s door, and smiling at him.”

Despite Bieker’s friendly grin, other staff members complained about her, the Probation Department launched an investigation and the case was turned over to the OCDA, leading to Deputy District Attorney Renee Jones’ successful prosecution.

Bieker resigned from her position with the probation department before the trial began. The juvie band should have played her out with “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.””
