From Waco, Texas, 29-year-old foster mother Roneicka Shantae Bonner ” has been booked into the McLennan County Jail after a school nurse reported injuries to a child who was being fostered by the woman.
Roneicka Shantae Bonner has been charged with injury to a child following a police investigation.
Waco PD Sgt. Patrick Swanton reports Bonner’s arrest goes back to a case first reported to police on February 26. Officers were called to a local school after a 5-year-old went to the school nurse with an injury.
Responding officers initially thought the child, who was living in a foster home, might have a broken arm. An ambulance was called and the child was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A forensic interview was conducted with the child, and the investigation determined the child had been injured during some form of discipline. Officers determined this went beyond discipline, and got an arrest warrant for Bonner.
CPS was also notified, and they conducted their own investigation. Following the investigation, police report CPS removed two of the victim’s siblings who were also foster children living in the same home.”

I think something should be done about the situation. DONT sweep it under the rug. It’s to many of our babies getting hurt or dying in the hands of foster parents. And that’s why we as grand mother’s stand and grand father’s stand up.and take on that responsibility. These babies didn’t ask for this world it was given to them. This case .The R.Bonner case I will be following.
