We covered Heather E. Savage here. Her case was dismissed without prejudice.

Now there is a post on “Former Clients of Voice of the Orphan (VOTO)and Giving Hope Rescue Mission (GHRM) A Unified Appeal for Change” here.

In part, it says, “she does not have legal guardianship any longer of her 7 children, though it seems she may have managed to have (illegal) physical custody of at least one of them at this time.”

“We have been alerted that Heather is currently involved with an organization called  Matranga School of Art.

As the website states, the school has been housing adopted children with attachment concerns, especially those whose families are considering adoption disruption. But we have also been informed by several sources, that Heather herself (through Matranga) is re-homing children that are coming to their respite program.

The Matranga School of Art was incorporated in the State of Washington on August 5, 2015.

“The Matranga School of Art facebook page however was posting publicly since June 2015, and hosted a graduation from their 9 week program in September.
The week of August 7, 2015 Johnnie Matranga (aka Rocky)  and Heather Elyse Savage were issued a marriage license in Pierce County, WA.”

“She presents herself as a mother who has re-homed children through Matranga, who now volunteers with them. She has been very careful to keep her name off the Matranga School of Art website and facebook page.

Heather has also mentioned her plans to several sources to start a second Matranga School of Art in the state of Oklahoma.

The Matranga School of Art “About” section has the following:”The 31.20 Registry is currently being created to protect innocent adoptive families from False Accusations made by their adopted child, who may suffer from mental, phychological,[sic] and behavioral issues due to trauma. This registry will be available for all adoptive parents to register their family so that they can be protected from Child Protective Services invading their lives due to false accusations made by children in the home, neighbors, school officials, family, and community members who do not fully understand the difficulty that one goes through raising special needs and high risk children/youth.

We hope to launch this national registry for Adoptive Parents in November of 2016.  Our vision is to open this to all Families, not just adoptive families who are raising special needs children by 2017.

Families will be able to send in copies of their child’s Phychological [sic]evaluations, medical reports, adoption disclosures, and proof of diagnosis to our national registry.

We will be working actively to protect you, and your parental rights as you protect the heart of your child.

While you hold them, our goal is to hold you to a level of accountability and make sure your parental rights and civil rights are being honored and respected.”

  1. Translation: Pedophiles and child abusers! Come adopt one of these kids from this registry, knowing that if s/he DOES report you, you can “prove” that s/he’s a liar, and continue abusing without interruption!

    That is so, so sick.
