From Page, Arizona,”a residence Navajo Nation Family Services has used to place foster children, was the location of a drug raid on Wednesday, March 2.

The Page Police Department obtained information that illegal drug use was going on at the home, located at …. With assistance from the Coconino County Sheriff’s Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety and National Park Service, Page Police obtained and executed a search warrant.

19 year old Matthew Smith of Page and 27 year old Ramon Betsuii of Kayenta were arrested for multiple drug charges. Illegal drugs and paraphernalia were also located at the residence.

Arizona Department of Child Safety is working in conjunction with Navajo Nation Family Services and the Page Police Department to investigate this incident.

The investigation is on-going.
