Kyrgyzstanis adopt almost 3,000 children over three years

“Kyrgyzstanis have adopted 2,942 children for three years (2013-2015), the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development reported.

” National adoption has ever been the priority. Since every child has the right to a family environment, the children who haven’t found their parents in Kyrgyzstan, go for international adoption. The ministry dismantled the possible corruption risks, increased responsibility of government agencies. The responsibility for the accreditation of foreign organizations engaged in international adoption is born by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Interior Ministry, National Security Committee and the Ministry of Social Development. The decision on adoption is made only by the court,” a statement said.
