Update:“A jury has found the director of a group home not guilty of allegations he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old staying at the home, according to court records.

Bryan Meeder, 33, faced five counts of sexual battery on a child by a person of familial or custodial authority. After a two-day trial, a jury on Wednesday acquitted Meeder on all five counts.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office reported in October 2016 that Meeder allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl staying in the home. The relationship allegedly continued through her 18th birthday when she reported it to authorities.
