From St. Louis, Missouri, Foster Mom ,Christina Denise Bell, 28,”as been charged in connection with the death of a child in December 2015.

According to court documents, 28-year-old Christina Denise Bell physically abused the 3-year-old child and he later died as a result of his injuries.

Bell was the child’s foster mom and had primary care of him when the incident took place.

She has been charged with abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death, a class A felony. ”

“Christina Denise Bell, 28, is charged with abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death, a felony, according to a court documents filed April 17.

Emergency medical personnel were called to a home in the … about 2:19 p.m. Dec. 8, 2015 for a 3-year-old child who was having breathing difficulties and becoming unresponsive, a probable cause statement said.

The child, identified in court documents as “D.B,” was found to be in cardiac arrest and was taken to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, where D.B. was pronounced dead about 9 p.m. An autopsy determined the cause of death to be abdominal blunt trauma.

The child had suffered “non-accidental” blunt force trauma and showed signs of injury to the body, head and extremities, the documents said.

Bell was identified as the foster mother of the child and admitted to having primary care, custody and control of the child at the time.

A spokeswoman for St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner declined to provide more details. ”
