From Bennington, Vermont, “Bennington police say a foster mom bit her 9-year-old foster child.

Anna Livingston is now charged with domestic assault and cruelty to a child under 10.

Police say the child’s biological mother discovered a bite mark on the boy’s arm during a visit. He did not need medical attention.

Livingston has been ordered to stay away from the child. He’s now in the care of her other family members as the Vermont Office of Children and Families searches for a more permanent solution.”

Foster mom accused of biting foster kid

“Anna Livingston, 56, pleaded not guilty in court Monday to charges of domestic assault and child cruelty. That’s after an incident Sunday involving a 9-year-old boy in her care. Police say the boy bit another child in the household while playing a game of zombies. And when Livingston disciplined the boy, they say she took his arm and bit him.

Bennington police tell us her bite left a “significant” bruise on the boy’s arm. Police say Livingston admitted to it and said she had been trying to prove a point but had bitten too hard.”

Police tell us Livingston’s husband is now looking after the child. And the Department for Children and Families is involved as well.”
