Temporary Suspension of Chinese Children Adoption International UPDATED

From here:”On March 15, 2018, the Council on Accreditation (COA) temporarily suspended the accreditation of Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI) for failing to maintain substantial compliance with accreditation standards.

During this suspension, CCAI must cease to provide all services in connection with intercountry adoption cases. If you have an open case with CCAI, please contact them directly to find out how the suspension will affect your case. CCAI is not required to transfer its cases to another provider at this time, but COA reserves the right to require a transfer of any or all of the CCAI cases at any time while it remains under suspension.

The suspension shall remain in force for a period of not less than two weeks (10 business days) from the effective date of the adverse action or until such later date as required corrective action has been implemented to the satisfaction of COA in its sole discretion. Find more information on COA’s website. We will post future updates here.”
