From Midvale, Australia, a 60-year-old ” former foster carer and manager is due in court this week to face seven child sexual assault charges after an extensive police investigation.

Midvale resident Susan Gale appeared in Perth Magistrates Court yesterday over several child sexual abuse allegations from when she worked at the Doubleview Group Home.

Midland detectives charged the woman following an extensive investigation into her allegedly sexually abusing a six-year-old boy in 1996 while in her care.

Ms Gale was charged with five counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 and two counts of indecently dealing with a child under 13.

She appeared in court yesterday and was remanded to reappear later this week after the matter was adjourned.

Ms Gale is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on Friday, August 24.”
