From Moscow, Russia, “Moscow region investigators initiated a criminal case on the fact of the death of a three-year-old foster boy who died from a brain injury in a children’s city hospital in Podolsk. According to the guardian, the baby fell in the bath. Experts have found at least six traces of blows on the baby’s head.

“Traumatic brain injury. Bruise and swelling of the brain and anatomical coma,” the docs diagnosed in the hospital.

The victim died without regaining consciousness.

Investigators initiated a case on Intentional Infliction of Grievous Bodily Harm, causing death by negligence (part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). At the time of clarifying the circumstances of the death of the boy, three foster children were taken away from the guardians and left in the family of three relatives, Vesti Podmoskovya reports with reference to the press service of the children’s ombudsman for the Moscow region.”
