From Griffith, Australia, “a former NSW foster carer has been arrested over the alleged abuse of a 13-month-old girl, leaving her with a fractured skull and broken wrists.
The 37-year-old was on Thursday charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm in Griffith, following a seven-month investigation.
Police allege the woman physically abused the infant, who was in her care, in October 2018, when she presented to hospital with a fractured skull, fractured wrists and bruising.
She has been refused bail to appear at Griffith Local Court on Thursday.
The girl was put in alternative care last year.”
