” A St. Marys woman left an Auglaize County courtroom in tears and handcuffs Friday morning after pleading guilty to felony charges relating to her sexual abuse of an underage male.

Paige Fiebelkorn, 33, was indicted by an Auglaize County grand jury in May of last year on 16 charges, including third-degree felony counts of sexual battery, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and tampering with evidence, as well as an unclassified misdemeanor count of furnishing to an underage person.

The indictment alleged the offenses occurred on Sept. 1, 2024, at a home on West Pearl Street in Wapakoneta. With a trial date looming, Fiebelkorn on Friday accepted an offer from prosecutors and agreed to plead guilty to two third-degree felony counts of sexual battery and a single count of tampering with evidence, also a felony of the third degree.

Fiebelkorn faces up to 13 years in prison when she is sentenced at an as-yet undetermined time. She is guaranteed of a minimum of 60 months behind bars as part of a stipulation contained in the plea agreement.

Assistant Auglaize County Prosecuting Attorney Laia Zink said Fiebelkorn engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old male at a St. Marys area residence. The victim, Zink said, was under Fiebelkorn’s disciplinary control by virtue of her role as co-director and founder of Generations of Love, a non-profit intended to support foster families.

The tampering charge, Zink said, was the result of Fiebelkorn’s actions to delete incriminating photos from her cell phone and the victim’s phone.

Fiebelkorn was asked by Judge Frederick Pepple if the facts of the case, as they pertain to the charges she was prepared to plead guilty to, were “the truth.” After a lengthy pause and eventually while choking back tears, Fiebelkorn replied, “Yes, your honor.”

Fiebelkorn fostered as many as 32 children with her husband, with whom she adopted four children to raise alongside their two biological children. She founded Generations of Love to support fellow foster families and troubled youth by providing them with beds, clothing and other emergency essentials a family may need when they accept a foster child into their home.

The Wapakoneta-based nonprofit cut ties with its founder on Feb. 26, 2025, according to the board.

At the conclusion of Friday’s hearing, Pepple said Fiebelkorn’s bond would be revoked. The judge remanded her to be taken into custody to await trial.

Defense counsel Ken Rexford asked that his client’s bond be continued, saying Fiebelkorn was in the process of getting a divorce and has several upcoming hearings scheduled. Zink conferred with the victim’s family members in the courtroom and told Pepple the family “is not okay” with Fiebelkorn being released.”
