How Could You? Hall of Shame-Richard and Nora Ramirez

From El Paso, Texas, adoptive parents Richard and Nora Ramirez were arrested on June ll, 2025.

” An adopted 15-year-old, who was repeatedly locked in his bedroom and forced to relieve himself inside his room, was discovered in East El Paso.’

“The victim reported he was routinely locked in his bedroom for extended periods and forced to relieve himself in his room without access to a restroom.”

“The 15-year-old stated he was only allowed out of his room for dinner and was immediately returned to his bedroom afterward.”

“According to the victim, this pattern of treatment had been ongoing since he was five years old.

Due to the serious nature of the allegations, the case was referred to the Crimes Against Children Unit for further investigation.

Richard and Nora Ramirez were both arrested and taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.”
