A large reunion occurred in 2010 and a new one is being planned for 2013. “Mini” reunions can be found on their events calendar here.

From their homepage, “The Chinese Adult Adoptee Worldwide Reunion (CAAWR) started when a few of us Chinese & Hong Kong adult adoptees/orphans happened to reached out to one another online. Though many of us were dispersed all over the world, the idea of meeting each other in person quickly took shape which grow into a more compressive reunion that took place in 2010 in Hong Kong. We hope to do more in the future.

The goal was to come together to share, support and bond with other adoptees/orphans while tapping into local HK and international adoption organisations. Since we started this project, we have been lucky enough to connect with more and more Chinese/HK adoptees/orphans and we hope to hear from you even if you are not able to come to any events.”
