From Pontotoc County , Oklahoma, Michael Priest, 72, “who created a foundation to help children in foster care, is accused of child sexual abuse.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), Michael Priest, 72, [71?]was arrested for allegedly committing several acts of sexual assault towards a child.

Priest and his wife are the founders of the 99+1 Foundation.

An affidavit shows he is accused of sexually abusing two girls between 2011 and 2023. Those victims are now adults.”

“Michael Elzie Priest, 71, was arrested, then posted a $150,000 bond and was released.”

“According to the foundation’s website, they “have been foster/adoptive parents for many years, working in all levels of care, kinship, traditional, tribal and therapeutic foster parents.”

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Pontotoc County District Court by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Tony Navarro, an adoptive daughter of the Priests, now an adult, told an employee with the Oklahoma Department of Health and Human Services that she and her younger sister were sexually abused by Michael Priest when they were younger.

The alleged abuse reportedly took place between 2011 and 2023, according to the court affidavit.

According to bond papers, Priest is not allowed to have contact with the alleged victims, or anyone under age 18 while out on bond.”
