How Could You? Hall of Shame-Benjamin Yellow Eyes case-Child Death

This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.

A 2024 case has been brought to light.

From Crookston, Nebraska, “Aquila Herman, 31, of Crookston, is charged in Cherry County Court with manslaughter, first-degree assault and committing child abuse negligently resulting in death of Benjamin Yellow Eyes, 10-months-old on October 8, 2024.

“The affidavit said paramedics performed CPR on the infant before he was transported to Cherry County Hospital in Valentine. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The affidavit said the Cherry County Sheriff observed the infant’s body and noticed broken blood vessels in the corners of his eyes, bruises on his face consistent with he placement of fingertips gripping his face and a tongue wound.

The affidavit said the infant’s left ear was reddish purple with bruising and he has a large bruise along his left flank that wrapped around his body that was consistent with a hand gripping his torso hard.

Herman’s bond has been set at $100,000. She is set to appear in Cherry County Court for a preliminary hearing at 11 a.m. April 14, but she filed a written waiver Wednesday.”

OMG! As I was searching for more about Aquila Herman, I found this little tidbit!

” Police in Rapid City say 28-year-old Aquila Mae Herman has been located safely.

Herman was reported missing to the police on Sunday, April 3 after last being seen on Tuesday, March 15.”

[Rapid City is 3 hours from Crookston… but in a different state .Wait! What! She was a missing person 3 years before she fostered a child that she then killed!WTF! I found this with ONE google search! Why oh why did the Nebraska dipshit Department of Health and Human Services do a google search on this piece of sh@t! Clearly , if she went MISSING she has some mental health issues! DUH! Why would you place an innocent child with this piece of sh@t! ]
