From Virginia Beach, Virginia, adoptive and foster parent, Doyal Richard George, 67, “was found guilty by a jury on two counts of rape, three counts of forcible sodomy of a victim under 13, two counts of aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13, and three counts of custodial indecent liberties, according to the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney Colin Stolle.”

“The attorney’s office said George sexually abused foster and adopted children in his care on dozens of occasions between Feb. 22, 2006, and Oct. 31, 2022. The children were as young as 4 years old up through early to mid-teens.

Each child later disclosed the abuse to trusted adults, who reported the sexual abuse to police, Stolle’s office said.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office said the investigation resulting in George’s prosecution spanned six years.

Circuit Court Judge Afshin Farashahi will sentence George on Nov. 16, 2026.”
