Update: “A former Bullhead City school librarian charged with 18 felonies for molesting three boys pleaded guilty late Tuesday to six of the charges.

Michael Gregory Oakleaf, 43, pleaded guilty to one count of molestation of a child and five counts of attempted molestation of a child. The remaining charges were dismissed.

He had been charged with 12 counts of molestation of a child, three counts of sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 12, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of sexual conduct with a minor.

Superior Court Judge Rick Williams will sentence Oakleaf to a stipulated 20-year prison sentence. After his prison sentence, Oakleaf will also be sentenced to a lifetime on probation. The defendant will be sentenced Dec. 4, Oakleaf’s attorney Ken Sondgeroth said.

Oakleaf reportedly molested three boys — two 11-year-olds and a 13-year-old — on several occasions for several years. The reported abuses occurred at his residence and not at Sunrise Elementary School. Oakleaf resigned from the school, where he worked as a librarian for 13 years, shortly after his arrest according to the Bullhead City school district.”
