How Could You? Hall of Shame-Nathan Fassnacht

This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.

From Columbus, Ohio,Nathan Fassnacht “is accused of raping two young children between 2000 and 2005.”

“A former Ohio State child care worker pled guilty to sexual battery Monday.”

Fassnacht allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a child who was about 5 or 6 years old. At least one assault allegedly occurred at the Ohio State University Child Care Program.

Fassnacht was under investigation for child pornography in 2014 when he was charged with rape.

At the time of his arrest in 2014, Fassnacht was employed by the Permanent Family Solutions Network, a division of the Buckeye Ranch, which is a sanctuary for troubled youth. He resigned shortly after he was formally charged.

In April 2015, Fassnacht was indicted on seven counts of rape, five counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor, six counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, and one count of compelling prostitution and faced life in prison.

He will be sentenced in October.”
