DOS notice: Liberia UPDATED

The Government of Liberia provided the Department of State official notification that the following agencies have received authorization to provide adoption services in Liberia:

1) Angels Haven
2) Across the World Adoptions
3) Americans for African Adoptions

It is essential that prospective adoptive parents wishing to adopt from Liberia work with an adoption service provider authorized by the Government of Liberia that either has current U.S. accreditation or approval or is under the supervision of a U.S. accredited or approved adoption service provider.  Prospective adoptive families should continue to monitorwww.travel.state.gov for updated information on adoptions in Liberia.
