From San Jose, California, Damari William Singleton ” also known as “Game God,” Image result for roll eyes smileywas indicted Thursday on felony counts of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children, sex trafficking of children, transportation of a minor for prostitution, and coercion and enticement for prostitution.

If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison and ordered to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

According to court documents, Singleton and an accomplice, Teyanna Michels, used Facebook to recruit a 15-year-old girl, identified as R.O., from Washington to work as a prostitute in California in 2014.

“Michels told R.O. that she was going to show R.O. ‘real pimping’ and ‘real hoeing,’” FBI Special Agent Ann Trombetta wrote in an affidavit. “R.O. agreed to come to San Jose initially because she wanted to come to California, but she knew that she was going to have to engage in prostitution-like behavior with Michels when she arrived.”

Singleton posted prostitution advertisements for R.O. on a website and set up “dates” with customers in cities including San Jose and San Francisco, according to court documents.

Singleton also recruited a 17-year-old girl, identified as L.G., from a group home in California and forced her to have sex with him several times in 2015, according to court documents.

At one point, R.O. and L.G. worked out of a hotel in Santa Clara, and every time they earned $1,000, Singleton would come by to collect the money, according to court documents.

“Both R.O. and L.G. were minors during the entire time they were involved in prostitution activities at the direction of and for the financial benefit of Singleton,” Trombetta wrote.

During the nearly yearlong investigation, R.O. was recovered by an undercover San Jose police officer and L.G. went back to her group home. Singleton, however, persuaded the girls to return to him, though they eventually left him for good before the end of 2015.”
