Canadian 12-Year-Old Foster Child Arrested for Assault on a Group Home worker

“A 12-year-old boy was arrested Monday after allegedly whipping a group home worker in the face with a cord.

The employee of a youth care group home went to the police station Monday evening to report being assaulted by a resident in the home.

He told police he had attempted to take a cord away from the suspect, who then struck him with the cord twice in the face.

The boy was arrested for assault and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court on Tuesday.”
