From Knoxville, Tennessee, foster father Roger David Sierra “was charged with DUI after reportedly driving to the Taco Bell drive-thru on Kingston Pike with his foster child in the front seat.

According to court documents, Roger David Sierra was arrested Sunday after witnesses reported he sat in the drive-thru, “jerking around and yelling at the drive-thru monitor.” Employees told police he refused to order for 10-15 minutes.

Witnesses reported that Sierra’s vehicle nearly struck several cars and people in the parking lot.

According to the report, a small child was sitting in the front seat of the car. Sierra reportedly told the officer he had driven from his residence to the Taco Bell.

Officers reported that Sierra was slurring his words, had pinpoint pupils, and appeared to be profusely sweaty.

The child was collected by DCS and Sierra was taken into custody after failing a field sobriety test, documents show.

The report did not specify the child’s exact age.”
