From Northern Territory, Australia, “Northern Territory Children’s Commissioner has released a damning report detailing the alleged physical, sexual and emotional abuse of 12 Aboriginal children in a foster home over a 15-year period.

According to the report, the children were allegedly hit with hockey sticks and metal bars, were padlocked in bedrooms and were sexually abused in the foster home.

The department reportedly investigated the home but failed to report it to the NT police.

Two children reportedly remain under the care of the same foster home today.”
