How Could You? Hall of Shame-Florida Foster Daughter

This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.

From Fort Walton Beach, Florida, a foster daughter attacked her foster mother while traveling in a car. The daughter has been charged with misdemeanor battery.

The foster mother was driving the daughter to a parade. The foster daughter “became uncooperative. She was sitting in the back seat but tried climbing  into the front seat to stop the car.”

When her foster mother refused to stop the car, the daughter began “clawing at  her arms, pulling her hair, and grabbing the steering wheel.”

The foster mother  “stopped the car and opened the door so the woman in the back seat  could get out, but the woman wouldn’t stop hitting her.”

Somehow the daughter exited the car and was found lying in the street and screaming. Deputies were called to the scene and the daughter was arrested after the deputy found the foster mother with bite marks on her right ear and scratch marks on her arm.
