Welcome to Wednesday Weirdness, a recurring theme where we post something truly weird and wacky in adoption or child welfare.

Today’s installment is inspired by all of those “adoption-pregnant” prospective parents. We have brought you some of the incessant tries at equalizing biological parenting with adoptive parenting and replacing biological components with adoptive components in the creepy flip doll hijacking, the naked birthmother pendant,and the ten pieces of offensive adoption merchandise FacePalm posts.

Though this is meant for men to …uh…”experience” pregnancy, we predict that this new piece of technology will be hijacked for adoption-pregnancy-gushing  purposes and showcased on someone’s adoption pregnancy blog before long-maybe it will be modified to add an “ultrasound” image of the country one is adopting from too!- and you can say that you read about it here first.
