How Could You? Hall of Shame-Maria Delores Gonzalez

From Rome, Georgia, foster parent Maria Delores Gonzalez, 47, “is facing felony charges for allegedly beating two  children, including a foster child in her care, with a belt,  according to Floyd County Jail reports.”
“One had injuries to the ear, neck, arms and back. The other had injuries to the back, arms and hands.

The incidents happened on Dec. 17 and Dec. 19 [2012].

The warrants indicated that one of the children was a foster child.

Gonzalez is charged with two counts of felony cruelty to children and two counts of misdemeanor battery.”

According to  Hometown Headlines.com, the misdemeanors are 2 counts of

16-5-23.1(F)(1) – BATTERY – FAMILY VIOLENCE (1ST OFFENSE) . The felonies are 2 counts of

16-5-70(B) – CRUELTY TO CHILDREN-CAUSES EXCESSIVE PHYSICAL OR MENTAL PAIN – 1ST DEGREE.

She has bonded out.
