This will be an archive of heinous actions by those involved in child welfare, foster care and adoption. We forewarn you that these are deeply disturbing stories that may involve sex abuse, murder, kidnapping and other horrendous actions.
This 2024 case has come to light. The case is still ongoing.
From Piedmont, Oklahoma, foster and adoptive parents, Tina Ramirez,43, and Anthony Ibeziako, 26, were arrested for 2 counts of child neglect and 4 counts of child abuse-felonies.
In 2024, “According to police records, officers with the Piedmont Police Department came across starving children and a fridge only accessible through a fingerprint lock at a home near Stout Dr. NW and Jackson Ave. NW on Mar. 15.
Officials with the Department of Human Services took emergency custody of the children in response.
Children living at the home were allegedly starved, tased, and beaten.
One child reported to police that, around last Easter, she was locked in a closet for four days without food after another minor at the home hid food in her room to share with her.”
“Police found a letter appearing to have been written by one of the children in the woman’s closet reading in part, “Dear God, I think she’s going to kill me.”
In total, records show five children lived at the home—with two looking “emaciated,” three looking thin, and all five reporting physical violence.
According to the police report, some of the children had been in foster care. FOX 25 has not been able to confirm exactly how many—or the relationship of the five minors to the adults.
Documents show that the two older children, both girls, lacked their own bedrooms and shared a futon in the living room—and appeared to have been treated more as household servants than members of the family.
According to the report, Ramirez denied physical abuse or starving the kids but admitted to mental abuse.
She reportedly told police, “Five kids, it’s overwhelming. And I didn’t know that those two girls were coming with all that baggage.”
After a medical evaluation, one child allegedly showed scars from being tased by Ramirez and beaten with a belt by Ibeziako.
Investigators questioned Ramirez why children under her care appeared to be starving while two expensive sports cars sat in her driveway.
Police made the discoveries after finding one of the two older girls after she ran away from the home.”

“The officer read chore logs and letters detailing the children’s home life. The father denied playing any role.
“She held scissors to my throat, bruises on my neck, nose being clogged with blood,” read the officer.
“I didn’t know any of this existed,” the father said.[Yeah…riiiiight!]
Even if he didn’t participate, police said he is still charged because he had a responsibility to stop it.”

“Police say they discovered the abuse after the 14-year-old girl ran away and told police she did not want to go home and was afraid of her mother. A police report shows the officer noted the girl was “the size of a first grader” whose “skin appeared to hang on her bones,” and “weighed around 60 pounds.”
An affidavit shows Ramirez failed to provide adequate food. Court documents also uncovered physical abuse including “excessively striking with a belt” her eight and 9-year-old sons, “striking, kicking and choking” her 14-year-old daughter as well as restraining her in a closet for multiple days, and tasing her abdomen.
“I don’t see how an adult can find it in their heart to sit there and do those types of things to a child,” Yates said.
Yates said the children were adopted by Ramirez sometime after her daughter, Kayla Yates, lost them to a drug addiction. Yates said she was dealing with her own problems and wasn’t able to step in at the time. She said her daughter was trying to turn her life around and wanted to be reunited with her children. But Yates said her daughter was murdered in 2022 on Valentine’s Day.”
